WEG has facade and balconies successfully refurbished
The substance-preserving refurbishment of the balcony cantilever slabs of the residential complex built at the end of the 1950s included the installation of a compensation system for vapor pressure. For this purpose, a special channel system was integrated into the surface to ensure successive drying to the front sides.
For the necessary ventilation, an edge protection made of aluminum profile was installed on the front sides, which was also sealed and sealed. It serves as weather protection and neatly closes off the balcony. Likewise, there were special detailed solutions for the facade insulation and expansion joint.
