Notes for applicants
You have 3 options to apply for a job at WestWood® Kunststofftechnik GmbH:
Possibility 1: Preferably, please apply directly with your meaningful documents via our application link. You will get to the online form and can comfortably upload your ready documents as PDF with max. 20 MB per document and max. 5 MB per picture.
Option 2: Please send applications by mail to the following address:

Please understand that we do not return documents received by mail.
Option 3: If you would like to apply by e-mail, please understand that only applications that reach us via firstname.lastname@example.org can be considered. File attachments can only be processed as PDF documents and must not exceed 10 MB in size.
As soon as we have received your application, you will automatically receive an e-mail confirming receipt at the e-mail address you provided. If you have applied by mail, the confirmation of receipt may be delayed.
Your application will be individually reviewed by the Human Resources Department and, if positive, forwarded to the department. Therefore, there is no "one-size-fits-all" procedure for the evaluation and selection of your application. If the feedback is positive and you also prevail in the subsequent selection process, it can take several months from application to acceptance. The duration is influenced by various factors and can vary depending on the job posting. For example, finding an appointment can be difficult if several people are involved or if the appointment search falls during an applicant's vacation time. We take a particularly long time for certain job postings. This is for operational reasons, for example because we are on a long-term search for a successor position. Here, too, we ask for your patience.
As soon as a decision has been made, we will contact you immediately.
Telephone interview (not for all jobs)
Your application documents have made us curious. We would like to get to know you better and learn more about your background and your motivations. The telephone interview is the first opportunity to do this and gives us the chance to get to know each other better. We don't just want to get to know you, we want you to get to know us. A member of our human resources team will call you for the telephone interview. This may take approximately 20 minutes.
Your application documents have convinced us. We would now like to meet you in person! You will have the personal interview with the department and a person from HR. You will receive further information about the job and your future team. The mutual impression this creates is important. You should allow about 60 minutes for the personal interview.
Trial work (not for all jobs)
To see how the team works together, the trial work can help you to get to know each other better. Conversely, you get the opportunity to get a feel for the technical requirements of the job.
If we are a good match, you will receive a contract offer.

Data protection is an important issue at WestWood®. We process all personal data of applicants according to the requirements of the EU Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) as well as the new Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG neu).

We would like to answer some questions about an application in advance. We have summarized information and answers for you. Of course, you can also send us additional questions by e-mail or phone.
What documents are required for the application?
Your application documents should include a cover letter, resume, work references and certificates, as well as proof of the highest level of education. If you would like to apply for a training position, we are also interested in your last two school reports and internship confirmations.
Do you give us permission to include your application in the pool?
You have applied to us and subsequently received an e-mail stating that we currently have no vacancies. May we include your application in our applicant pool? Then you are welcome to give us your permission. This has the advantage for you that we can search for suitable candidates in the applicant pool when filling vacancies and contact you again when a vacancy matching your profile arises. Of course, you always have the option of letting us know that you are not open to offers for the time being.
