High performance for parking garage refurbishment When parking garages have to refurbish their busy road surfaces and on- and off-ramps, the products used must have special properties: They should be highly abrasion-resistant, slip-resistant and resistant to mechanical loads. This was the case with the High Performance Wecryl 413 structural pavement from WestWood, which was used in the refurbishment of the Cologne city center parking garage. In the overall structure of the PMMA waterproofing system, the textured surfacing forms the final wearing layer. Since the flexible PMMA resins react from primer to finish in only 20 minutes each and can be quickly reworked, parking garage renovations are possible without much downtime: In the Cologne parking garage, all work was completed after only two weeks!
