62 access galleries rehabilitated for a long time
When apartments need to be reached, any necessary renovation of arcades must not entail long closure times. Wohnungswirtschaftliche-Verwaltungs-Gesellschaft mbH (WVG) therefore opted for a coating of PMMA-based liquid resin. Thanks to the extremely fast reaction times of the permanently flexible resins, the disruption to apartment tenants could be kept to a minimum. 62 leaking access galleries were renovated in three construction phases in accordance with the strict regulations: Thus, an aesthetically and at the same time mechanically extremely resistant WestWood® coating with a construction height of only 5 mm was applied to the galleries. And since the PMMA components can be laid even at temperatures as low as -5 °C, two construction phases could even be carried out in February and fall.
