fermacell® Powerpanel TE

The fermacell^® Powerpanel TE is a dry screed board; manufactured by the company James Hardie Europe GmbH. The board is used in the WestWood^® insulation system as a load-distributing layer on thermal insulation for the renovation of objects such as balconies, terraces, arcades or similar.

With the express permission of James Hardie Europe GmbH, fermacell^® Powerpanel TE may be used in this system. Other uses in WestWood^® systems are expressly prohibited.

The fermacell^® Powerpanel TE may only be used in combination with insulation materials that comply with the specifications (min. application area 2) of the technical guidelines of James Hardie Europe GmbH (see processing guidelines "Additional insulation materials under fermacell® floor systems") (individual load max. 2 kN, live load up to 2 kN/m²) (See also installation guidelines WestWood^® insulation system).

In combination with the Wecryl waterproofing system (which contains a fleece-reinforced waterproofing layer certified according to ETAG 005), the WestWood^® insulation system is thus approved under building regulations according to DIN 18531 for used and unused roofs.
