The new Wecryl OS 14: tested according to TR Maintenance Part 2

Wecryl OS 14 is a new, high-quality and legally compliant PMMA coating system from WestWood® Kunststofftechnik GmbH, developed for walkable and drivable surfaces such as parking garages. It has been tested in accordance with the requirements of TR Instandhaltung Part 2 and is characterized by outstanding crack-bridging properties. The elastic surface protection layer (hwO) and the crack-bridging top layer make it ideal for long-lasting and economical refurbishments.

The system is based on proven and new components, including the primer Wecryl 171 and the waterproofing Wecryl R 230 thix. The high area coverage enables efficient application of up to 3,000 m² of waterproofing per day. The wear layer of the system has been extensively tested in accordance with the new OS 14 class test requirements, including slip resistance and fire behavior.

The new Wecryl 407 head sealer in combination with leveling mortar and bedding material forms a mechanically resilient protective and wear layer. It can be used on almost all substrates and enables the design of freely selectable patterns and markings, ideal for parking garages for user orientation.

Wecryl OS 14 has been extensively tested in a market trial phase to ensure that it meets all legal requirements. Kiwa has confirmed the excellent properties of the system, giving planners, contractors and customers the certainty that the system works reliably.
